Exposed mortise and tenon joints and simple vertical and horizontal lines are iconic of Mission style furniture design of the late 1800s. Our Barnwood Dining Table Mission Style Base is directly inspired by the movement that was founded to emphasize traditional craftsmanship. For the first time this classic dining table style is coupled with reclaimed wood to create a warm, weathered functional and aesthetically pleasing rustic dining table.
Please take notice of the vertical spindles and posts. These are solid, reclaimed barn wood beams from 100 to 150 year old barns. Some of our competitors are using fresh cut lumber and attempting to make it look old in attempt to lower their costs. Not for this barnwood dining table design - only slowly, naturally aged authentic barnwood is used. The character is second to none.
As with all our barn wood dining tables, this unique design can be made any size needed to fit your home, cabin, cottage, lodge or ranch. Also, it is available made expandable in order to accommodate the family from everyday to holidays.
We also offer this beautiful barnwood dining table in optional finish colors. It is shown in "urban graphite" - one of our signature in-house finishes meant to provide the look of weather gray wood. We have many other finish color options.
