Woodland Creek Furniture is a manufacturer and retailer of quality rustic furniture. Woodland Creek began handcrafting furniture in 1999. Our story began with a straightforward and simple goal - to become the premier rustic furniture store in the Midwest showcasing the most unique and highest quality rustic furniture and decor. 

The founders started by building and placing a rustic table next to the side of a moderately traveled highway, in the hopes of a sale. It sold. A small retail store and workshop followed. Every year thereafter brought some type of addition to the original complex or the opening of a new retail store in another city. The company has grown from two original employees to 60 full time employees and another 25 part time employees. In 2018 Woodland Creek shipped over 25,000 pieces of custom-made rustic furniture to clients throughout the U.S. and Canada (with the occasional order going overseas).

Woodland Creek has broadened its goal for 2019. We now strive to become the top rustic furniture manufacturer and retailer in the world. Woodland Creek has pushed the boundaries of design orthodoxy by showing how our clients can mix rustic furniture, modern furniture, and organic wood, copper, steel & stone furniture tastefully creating new and fresh décor styles. Just a few years ago, you would never have seen rustic furniture mixed with modern furniture. We have been showing and promoting these combinations for many years. Woodland Creek was one of the first companies to introduce barnwood furniture - furniture made from reclaimed wood and utilized in refined rustic furniture designs. It was twenty years ago, we started promoting the unique character and attributes of barnwood furniture as a talking point in cabins, lodges or rustic-themed home decor. It's rewarding to see how barnwood furniture has become mainstream and appreciated for its aesthetic beauty and historical significance.

Woodland Creek is anything but "mainstream" within the furniture industry. Most retail stores purchase furniture from wholesale sources and make their income on the margins they realize. This is the primary reason these stores all look the same and sell the same furniture styles. They are not the trend setters. Conversely, Woodland Creek owns and operates three of its own factories where designs are exclusively made for and sold through Woodland Creek’s retail stores and ecommerce web sites. In addition, we have made exclusive relationships with specialty manufacturers around the world.
