Our refined rustic bed with natural pine slabs is both elegant and rustic. Using those two adjectives used to be considered an oxymoron, but this unique bed design proves a bed can be both rustic and elegant at the same time. The post used for the prototype in the photo are made from alder.  We are going to make future ones out of reclaimed barnwood. Molding is added for refinement. The posts are finished in one of our proprietary colors. The natural live edge slabs are reclaimed from trees destined for the fire-pit or worse - the landfill. We cut, plane and sand the slabs to release the natural inherent character in each log. We then hand finish slabs in another proprietary color.  The combination of reclaimed wood and artisan finishing techniques makes for a beautiful refined rustic bed.

Our refined rustic bed is a transitional design. It will add refinement to a cabin, lodge, camp, ranch or mountain decor. But, it will also add rustic warmth to a cottage, coastal, loft or traditional decor.
