The Cedar Lake Small Spindle Bed is made from cedar and has multiple smaller spindles in the headboard and foot board to create a more unique look than the classic log bed. Our Cedar Lake collection is solidly handcrafted from carefully chosen and hand-peeled Northern White Cedar Logs. The hand peeling process leaves some inner bark or cambium on the logs accentuating the logs natural character and beauty. The naturally aged cedar logs used are rich in character from nature herself and may feature beetle marks, burls, gnarls and other natural rustic character.

Q: If I order this bed with the side rails and spindles, what size box spring/ mattress is recommended to make sure the mattress top clears the rails? Or can you provide the dimensions from the bottom supports to the top of the extra side rail?

A: great question Natalie - it's a personal preference really. It will work great with standard box springs or low profile box springs. It really comes down to how high off the floor you want your mattress. Thank you

Q: Are the slats required as I would like to have an adjustable base from sleep number to sit in inside the frame?

Well built, easy to assemble, love the natural look. One negative was they lost our information and the bed was sitting in a warehouse unclaimed, so it took longer than the estimated time to receive.

The bed is very sturdy and solid. We ordered a queen with double under bed drawers. The drawers open and close smoothly and add a lot of storage. My husband and I put the bed together without any trouble and it is just beautiful!

The bed is very sollid and we absolutely love it. We ordered ours with the single side rails to save some room and it fits our room just perfectly. The small logs in the headboard and footboard give the bed a really nice look in our opinion.
