White oak and black walnut might sound like polar opposites, but wow do they work well together. Riffing off each other’s color palettes, they create a contrasting harmony that you just can’t force. The result is a natural modern bed that is also a rustic masterpiece, with the ebb and flow of the head and foot boards almost tipping the balance into live edge bed category. The walnut has been utilized for the frame, giving you strength and a definitive darker carcass where you want it the most and then in comes the oak, creating a focal point by simply existing in its unadulterated form. Marrying up to the walnut, thanks to the naturally darker outer edge, the oak merely seeks to tie the design together cohesively and brings the overall hue up to a lighter and more neutral shade. Made to order

Unlike many of our competitors; we don’t claim to be a made-to-order workshop. Then have hundreds of batch-built beds — freshly shipped in from overseas — ready to box and send. We genuinely make every bed for you. We are proud to be a domestic success story. As such, we ask that you spare us a little patience. Generally, We like to have around 12 weeks to complete your bed, especially if you choose a large size, just so that we don’t have to rush the process. You, in turn, get the bedroom furniture of your dreams, perfectly executed and with no corners cut or quality lost. You’ll be pleased to know that we offer this particular contemporary natural bed in three sizes: queen, king and Cali king. The design holds fast, regardless of the size selected, as it is so neutral. If, however, you have fallen desperately in love with this piece and need very specific, bespoke dimensions catered for, don’t think that your journey has to end here. Remember that we build to order, which means there is infinite scope for making you something one-off. You might actually be surprised how often we do exactly that. Shipped for free and with a full year’s warranty, the only thing you’ll need to think about — once you’ve placed your order — is treating yourself to some luxurious new bed linens. Lucky you!
