Q: Please advise if the copper wraps around a solid wood top or a manufactured wood top. Is the top finished in copper on the underside also? How is the top attached to the base? Is there a brace between the base and the top? Is there any type of sealant or finish on the copper to preserve it? thank you, Carolyn Hughes

A: Thank you for your interest. The copper wraps around solid wood and it does not wrap around the bottom. The base attaches to the top with screws. Copper is naturally great at self "healing" any minor damage that would be associated with normal wear and tear of a table.
