Hickory is a dense heavy wood that contrasts beautifully with lighter log furniture and blends in nicely with darker barnwood furniture. The hickory logs are left unpeeled to give a rustic, natural look to the table. The top has a natural edge of hickory bark on either side. All the hickory logs used are kiln dried first down to a specific moisture content. This drying process is done to ensure the best quality possible. An eco-friendly clear finish is added to the nightstand for extra durability and color depth.
