The process of hand peeling the logs leaves some of the inner, darker bark on the logs, as well as leaving the knots and imperfections. This means each log used will be unique, creating a one of a kind rustic futon. The mortise and tenon construction not only adds to the rustic charm of the lounge chair, but also ensures a sturdy and rigid construction.

 The Cedar Lake Cabin Log Loveseat comes standard with a clear finish or may be either left unfinished or upgraded to a honey pine finish or a vintage whiskey finish.
