A: No, the free shipping is explained as follows: Free Curbside Freight Delivery to Residence (You Unload) - This delivery method covers the basic essentials. The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and appointment window once your item(s) arrives at the local terminal. A truck, (18 wheeler) will pull up to the curb outside of your home within your appointment window. A truck of this size MUST be able to easily pull to the end of your driveway and be able to turn around or exit the area without trouble. From there, you will be responsible for unloading the crate(s) from the truck and any further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking family members or friends for an extra hand.

Desk is good. I expected great for the price and wait. The top had a little dent in it on arrival. The varnish had some runoff and the handles on the drawers were not old character aspen that unpaid the 300+ dollars for. Looks nice in my office but thought I would be over the top happy.
