What is Refined Rustic Furniture? Some might call this term an oxymoron; we do not. Woodland Creek started operations making traditional rustic furniture – furniture made from pine, cedar and hickory logs. This style of furniture (now categorized as Log Furniture) remains popular. Over the years, we had many customers tell us that they liked the warm and beauty of log furniture brought, but they wanted something a bit more sophisticate or “refined”. Thus, the term “Refined Rustic Furniture” was coined. Our Refined Rustic Collection bridges the gap between rustic and traditional log furniture. The woods are typically rough sawn and naturally distressed. The use of corbels, dark stained trim and contrasting colors create an elegant rustic or sophisticated rustic piece of furniture. This style of furniture will look great in a cabin, lodge, mountain or traditional home. Most of the Refined Rustic Collection can be made any length, width and height needed.
