Each gorgeous rustic lamp is handcrafted using free formed, hand sanded "Velvet" Mesquite harvested from the Sonora Desert. This Mesquite wood is some of the most diverse and dense wood found anywhere.  Real handcrafted copper shades with your choice of design compliments the lamp base perfectly.  Here are a few of the reasons why this is one of our favorite lamps:

Lamp Base:

• Each lamp will be unique and one of a kind.  No two lamps will ever be the same as the wood varies in shape and color
• Each lamp base starts out as a chunk of hand picked Mesquite wood.
• Each chunk of Mesquite is hand sanded to both shape and smooth the wood
• Each base is then hand finished with a Watco Danish Oil Finish
• Each lamp features a 10' electrical cord
• can accept up to 150 watt bulb
• An optional Turquoise Inlay is available. If chosen, vibrant Turquoise color is inlaid in the naturally developed cracks of the wood.

Lamp Shades:

• Each lamp shade is made from solid copper - no foils or faux copper finishes
• 100% copper means not having to wax or worry about the upkeep on the shade
• Each shade has wire reinforced framework on the top and bottom
• You have a choice of shade finishes - each are hand applied to ensure long lasting beauty
• Each shade has a high quality lacquer finish for extra protection
