All the logs are harvested from dead-standing lodgpole pine and are dried so there is no moisture in the logs.  Rustic furniture is subject to the natural process of splitting or checking as the wood releases moisture, this does not compromise the strength of the furniture, it just adds character to the wood. The skip peel procedure leaves just enough color from the inner bark to give the appearance of natural texture and color contrast, giving each piece that rustic furniture appeal. 

Built with durability in mind, this stool is constructed of solid pine wood using the time proven mortise and tenon joinery system.  The pub stool comes topped with a half log pine seat.  Seat height is 30 inches.  For this rustic pub stool comes with the traditional Glacier Country stain and lacquer finish that sets our collection apart.
