Our aspen log writing desk is crafted by hand for you to ensure the best quality and to keep as much natural beauty as possible. Aspen log legs are hand peeled and used for the legs of your desk. 2" thick solid aspen is used for the writing desktop. A pencil drawer is incorporated into the desk and it slides out on full extension roller bearing drawer glides. Our solid wood tops are made from real wood and have natural distressing, enhancing their rustic charm.

This desk is drop dead gorgeous and solid (not chincy). However it arrived flat packed. Legs were easy to attach, but the drawer was totally messed up. I had to reattach the drawer and add some little L brackets from Home Depot to hold it back in place. :( My rating my would Be higher if I didn't have to fix it upon unpacking.

iver kept saying, "They are really nice." I was also quite impressed by the means of protection built around the desks to ensure that they got to their destination undamaged. Covered by protective materials, the two desks were secured to a pallet with a wood frame constructed around them and then covered securely in more protective coverings. Thank you so much!
