Care and Maintenance
Furniture Crafted by Woodland Creek Furniture, Inc.

Unless a custom paint/stain was requested, Woodland Creek Furniture, Inc.’s handcrafted furniture will be sealed with pre-catalyzed lacquer.
This finishing technique gives the wood a soft luster while not removing the inherent character.
Woodland Creek Furniture, Inc.’s handcrafted furniture is very low maintenance.

We highly recommend The Original Bee’s Wax furniture polish. This can be purchased here: Bee's Wax Polish. Any type of wood furniture polish can be used, along with a clean, dry cotton cloth to wipe clean of dust.

To clean spilled areas use a damp cloth with a mild detergent. To protect the surface always use drink coasters, placemats and hot pads under hot dishes.
If you were to get scratches or dings we would suggest using clear Bri-Wax. Let’s say, for example, your family adopted a new puppy and this adorable creature started teething on your beautiful furniture.

First, you would lightly sand the edge of the affected area with a fine-grit sandpaper. Remove any sharp edges, and blend in divots, dents or scratches.
Second, take a dry cloth and dab some of the Bri-Wax on to the area, rub well, and remove any excess wax. If necessary apply a second coat the next day followed by a third a week later.

Cleaning Stainless Steel

Vinegar + Olive Oil

Many people swear by the simple combination of vinegar and olive oil for keeping their stainless-steel clean.
1: Add white vinegar to a clean spray bottle.
2: Spray down your stainless-steel appliance.
3: Wipe clean with a microfiber cloth.
4: Once clean, dip your cloth into a small amount of olive oil.
5: Move the cloth in the direction of the grain. This will add some deep shine to your appliance and remove any remaining streaks or marks.

Alternatively you can also use The Original Bee’s Wax furniture polish to clean and polish your stainless steel. This can be purchased here: Bee's Wax Polish.
