Woodland Creek Furniture operates three retail stores as well as an internet store.  Much of the unique rustic furniture shown on our web site is crafted in our own workshop. Getting our clients their furniture the first time without damage is our primary goal.

We operate a professional warehouse for shipping. We carefully wrap, pad, shrink wrap, box and/or crate the furniture to ensure its safe travel. We take every precaution to make sure your furniture is packaged correctly, shipped timely and safely.

Local deliveries are done by Woodland Creek’s own trucks. Delivery fees are based on location but include all setup of any furniture.

Shipping is available anywhere in the United States and Canada.  We are also capable of shipping to many countries throughout the world.  Please inquire with one of our internet sales representatives to see if we can ship to you.

Please note that freight carriers deliver the furniture to the customer’s curb with standard shipping. It is the customer’s responsibility to have the necessary people to carry indoors and set up. Please let us know if you would like in-home set up and we would gladly provide you this quote.

Shipping Rates

If a product is listed with “Free Shipping“, this includes the cost of LTL shipping within the contiguous U.S.A.  Smaller accessory & décor product pages on our web site listed with “Free Shipping” include the cost of shipping “Ground” via FedEx and/or USPS Priority mail.  Please note that contiguous U.S.A. does not include Alaska or Hawaii orders.  Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii are quoted separately.

Accessory & Decor Shipping Lead Times & Information

Woodland Creek Furniture makes many of its own products, but some products shown on our website do come from other vendors and may ship directly from the manufacturer.  Lead times can vary from one to three weeks on accessory or décor items. Should a delay occur from a vendor, our staff will follow up with an email.  Please email us at info@woodlandcreekfurniture.com for questions on stock availability or specific product delivery lead times. Our staff will provide an estimated lead time.

Express shipping is available for some in stock items.   The cost of Express shipping is in addition to the regular ground shipping fee.  We utilize UPS and/or Federal Express to ship Express orders.  The delivery time for those items in stock that qualify for Express shipping is 3 to 4 days.  Express shipping is only available to customers living in the continental U.S.  We would be happy to provide a quote for the extra cost of Express shipping.

Furniture Delivery Lead Times & Information

Furniture shown on our web site that does not explicitly state “Free Shipping” on the product page is quoted based on your zip code. Customer service representatives are here seven days a week from 10:00 to 6:00 (EST) to answer questions and provide quotes.  Please call us 231.668.9125 or email us at info@woodlandcreekfurniture.com.  Please include the product model number, the desired size and your zip code.  We will shop the rate with all the top carriers and get you the best possible shipping rate.

Furniture delivery attempts can only be made Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. The shipping company will contact you to arrange a delivery time, so a daytime telephone number is required.

It is imperative that if you live in a remote area for which it will not be feasible to get a commercial semi-truck to your residence that you inform us at the time of ordering. Please take into consideration any other obstacles that will preclude trucks from getting to your home (e.g., low utility wires, low trees, steep driveway, etc.).

Additional charges will apply if the truck shows up and the delivery cannot be made because the truck cannot gain access.

Let us know if any special arrangements need to be made. Please note that we always try and use reputable third party LTL shippers.  For white glove delivery service we use smaller, specialty companies servicing various parts of the U.S.  Not all shipping companies may service your area, and we may be limited to one or two shippers.  These shippers may have policies that differ from our own.  For example, they may only deliver from 9:00am to 2:00pm on weekdays, or they may not offer weekend delivery service.  If this is the case, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.  It is our goal to get you your furniture is a safe and timely manner.

About Our Wood Crates

We build very strong wood crates to protect the furniture from damage during shipping. The size of the crate depends on the size of the order. Some crates are smaller and some very large. Trucks delivering medium to large size crates will have a lift-gate on the back to lower the crate to the ground. We must build wood crates to protect the furniture during transport. We utilize only the most effective shippers to eliminate damages.  It is our experience that while you can save a little money using inadequate shippers, your furniture will arrive damaged. For standard shipping it is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of the crate. See included photos for example of what a wood crate will look like. Each crate has instructions stapled to the side and explains how to open.

Shipping Damage or Furniture Returns – Very Important

We build very strong wood crates to protect the furniture from damage during shipping.  If you notice damage to the exterior of the crate, please inspect your furniture carefully for damage. Damage must be noted at the time of delivery.

Please immediately call us and describe the damage. If it is repairable, we will immediately send out the necessary parts to fix. If you believe your furniture is beyond repair, please contact your sales Rep or our shipping department immediately.  If everyone is in agreement then the furniture will be rejected and it will be returned to us at no expense to you.

NOTE: each crate is built so that either the top or one side is attached with screws. This is the side to open first and remove your furniture. DO NOT destroy crate until you have concluded the furniture is in good condition. If the furniture ordered is not heavy, the top will unscrew, and the piece can be removed from the top. For larger, heavier pieces, one side will unscrew. If there is damage to the piece, it is the customer’s responsibility to place the piece back inside the crate so the shipper can return the crated piece for credit. If the crate is destroyed by the customer while opening to inspect, the customer is responsible for constructing new crate and giving to shipper before “Credit” will be issued.

Since Woodland Creek has started to ship using wood crates, product damage has declined substantially. It is our goal to get you your furniture in pristine condition. We thank you for your order and hope your furniture brings many years of happiness.
