Modern Rustic Vanity

We call this a modern rustic vanity because it is both modern yet rustic.  The clean linear design definitely says "modern or contemporary", but the reclaimed barnwood doors are surely rustic as they are made from barn wood that is over 100 years old.  The old distressed wood is full of character.

You are seeing Designers all over the country and world for that matter mixing rustic and modern.  The old rules of decorating are long gone.  It seems the eclectic the better.  Our modern rustic vanity is truly transitional.  This vanity would look wonderful in a modern apartment over looking New York's skyline or equally fitting  in a timber frame home over looking the ski trails in the Rocky Mountains.

The doors are slightly enhanced with our weathered gray wash finish.  This draws all the natural marking out adding rustic charm.  Woodland Creek Furniture is known for its custom made furniture.
