Rustic Wood Bunk Beds in Style
We know that a rustic, black walnut bunk bed sounds like a luxury and you know what? It is! It’s also a practical choice, if you want your investment to stand the test of time and never date. By opting for a seemingly understated and simple design, we have been able to allow the unique nature of every black walnut slab employed to take charge. The headers and footers, each boasting a spectacular live edge, ensure that no two bunk beds will ever be identical, while also appealing to sleepers of all ages. That’s why they are just as well suited to a guest suite as a child’s room. That’s also why we over this beautiful design as a twin over twin or a full over full.
In terms of unforgettable bedroom furniture, rustic wood bunk bed designs are up there with the most sought-after pieces, especially for lodge or cabin settings, but can’t you picture this lovely solution in a modern home just as well? We see so much potential, from a pared back bright bedroom through to a woodland themed nursery. Furthermore, we don’t think there is any space that wouldn’t gladly accept such a timeless and organic design.
We didn’t want to detract from the wood being used here. Therefore, we opted for a subtle integrated ladder and unfussy side rail style for the top bunk. We were also cognizant of the fact that you might need to access some extra bedroom storage space, so kept the bottom bunk suitably high off the ground to allow you to slide storage boxes underneath.
Rustic Builds Require Time
Designed and made in our USA workshop, we ask for up to 12 weeks from the point of ordering to complete, as we build specifically for you. This gives you an opportunity to get in touch and make any specific requests and don’t be shy! You might not see any dropdown menus for custom choices here. However, we are ALWAYS happy to discuss specific needs and its very rare that we can’t devise a wonderful solution. Seriously, if you’re loving this design but, for example, want something carved into the headboards, just ask. Nothing is too much trouble.
